Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using VoidRuns (the “Service”), located at voidruns.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these terms at any time; material changes will be announced to authenticated users via email or in-app banner. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. Description of the Service

VoidRuns is an independent analytics platform for short-form video creators. We provide:

• A free, client-side Viral Score Calculator with a rule-based scoring model.
• An AI Profile Analyzer that fetches a public TikTok @handle's metadata via a third-party API and surfaces engagement, posting-time, and trend insights.
• An educational content library (Playbook, Case Studies, Algorithm Glossary, Creator Breakdowns) and a Hook Templates library.

VoidRuns does not access any private API of TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, or any other platform. We are independent of and not affiliated with TikTok Inc. or ByteDance Ltd.

3. Accounts

Some features (the AI Profile Analyzer, run history, subscription management) require an account. Accounts are created via Clerk using Google sign-in or an email magic link — no password is stored. You are responsible for keeping access to your sign-in email secure. One account per person; sharing credentials with others is a breach of these Terms.

4. Free tier and fair use

The free tier includes 3 AI profile analyses per 30-day rolling window per account. Repeat analyses of the same handle within one hour are served from cache and do not count against the limit. Attempts to evade the limit by creating multiple accounts, automating sign-ups, or any similar abuse may result in account termination without refund.

5. Pro subscription, billing, and renewals

Pro is offered on a recurring subscription basis: $19/month or $182/year (approximately $15.17/month equivalent), billed automatically through Stripe. Prices are in USD and exclude any applicable taxes.

Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period — you keep Pro access until then. No proration applies for early cancellation of a monthly plan.

Failed payments are retried by Stripe up to three times over approximately ten days. If all retries fail, your subscription is paused and your account reverts to the free tier. You can re-subscribe at any time.

You can update your card, switch between monthly and annual billing, or cancel at any time through the Stripe Customer Portal, accessible from the AI Analyzer page when signed in as a Pro user.

6. Refund policy

• Monthly plan: we will refund the most recent monthly charge within 7 days of the charge, no questions asked. Email contact@voidruns.com with your account email.
• Annual plan: we will refund prorated for unused full months remaining (e.g. cancelling after 3 months returns 9 months' equivalent value). The refund excludes any month already started.
• Refunds are returned to the original payment method via Stripe.

7. Pro codes (gifted access)

VoidRuns may grant Pro access to investors, journalists, beta testers, or other selected users via one-time redemption codes (e.g. VOID-XXXX-YYYY). Code-granted Pro is non-transferable, has no monetary value, cannot be combined with other discounts, and is granted at our discretion. Code Pro can be revoked if used in violation of these Terms.

8. Acceptable use

• You may use the Service for personal or commercial content strategy research.
• You may share screenshots and link to articles on this site.
• You may not scrape, mirror, or republish the contents of this site or our API responses without written permission.
• You may not use the Service to attempt to reverse-engineer the algorithms of any third-party platform.
• You may not analyze handles in bulk via the public UI in a way that imposes unusual load (use of the public API tier, when available, is the correct path).
• You may not use the Service to harass, defame, or otherwise harm any creator whose profile you analyze.

9. No guarantee of results

VoidRuns provides analytical estimates and educational guidance. We make no guarantee that following our recommendations will increase video views, follower counts, or any other performance metric. Short-form video performance depends on many factors outside our scoring model, including platform algorithm changes, audience behavior, and content quality.

10. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers (listed in the Privacy Policy) including Clerk, Stripe, Cloudflare, and RapidAPI. We are not responsible for the availability or behavior of these services. Outages or errors at a third-party provider may temporarily affect the Service.

11. Intellectual property

The VoidRuns name, logo, scoring methodology, hook library curation, written articles, and visual design are the property of VoidRuns. Articles published on this site are original works produced for educational purposes; quotations and references to public figures and brands fall under fair use for commentary and analysis. Output of the AI Profile Analyzer is generated from publicly visible TikTok data and is provided for your use and reference.

12. Disclaimer of warranty

The Service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any output will be accurate or current. TikTok data is fetched at request time from a third-party API and reflects what that API returns at that moment.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VoidRuns shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including lost views, lost revenue, or lost opportunities. Our total liability for any direct damages is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or USD $50, whichever is greater.

14. Account termination

You may delete your account at any time by emailing contact@voidruns.com (in-app deletion UI ships with the account page). Account deletion removes your email, plan, and run log within 30 days. Active subscriptions are cancelled automatically and refunded according to section 6 if requested. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms; in cases of fraud or abuse, no refund is owed. Sections concerning intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability survive termination.

15. Governing law

These Terms shall be interpreted under generally accepted principles of internet commerce. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally within 30 days of written notice shall be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction.
